NCCCA offering clay workshop for kids

PLATTSBURGH — The North Country Cultural Center for the Arts will host “Clay Week” during its next Art Quest workshop, from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, Aug. 19 through 23. 

Artists ages 6 to 14 will explore various methods of working with clay, including pinch pots and coil pots, to make unique pieces of art. 

The cost is $85 for NCCCA members or $95 for non-members. Scholarships are available. Register at www.plattsburgharts.org or by visiting the center at 23 Brinkerhoff St., Plattsburgh.
