NCCCA hosting winter events

PLATTSBURGH — The North Country Cultural Center for the Arts at 23 Brinkerhoff St. is offering a number of workshops in January.

The “Try It! Wheel Workshop” is from 1 to 2 p.m. or 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5. The cost is $25 per session.

“Mommy/Daddy & Me Clay Time” for ages 2 to 4 is from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8. The workshop runs every second Tuesday of the month. The cost is $25, or $20 for members of the NCCCA.

“Mud and Merlot” is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 10 and 24. The evening includes sipping wine and making ceramic pieces. No experience necessary. Ages 20 and up. Cost is $25.

The “Second Sunday Family Arts” event is from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13. The cost is $5 per child, or $12 for a family of three or more children.
