Author to speak about near-death experiences
MALONE — David Bennett, an author and teacher, will speak about near-death experiences at the North Country Church of Spiritualism at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28.
At the Grange Hall, 42 Raymond St., Bennett will talk about his three transformative experiences, including when he was diagnosed with stage-four lung cancer that metastasized into his spine, causing its collapse. Now in remission, Bennett’s passion includes working with experiencers and cancer survivors to integrate their spiritually transformative experiences.
He has lectured at international conferences and shared his message at groups across the country. He has consulted for both radio and television, including on “Oprah” and “Dr. Oz” as a near-death experience expert. Copies of his book, “Voyage of Purpose,” will be available for purchase.
An offering will be taken to help defer the church’s expenses. A potluck dinner will follow the service.
