Moriah Council working on 2013 budget

MORIAH — The Moriah Town Council will hold a session to work on the 2013 budget at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Town Hall, 38 Park Place, Port Henry. 

Another meeting for the same purpose is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 25, if needed. 

The public is welcome to attend.

CCC Board to meet Tuesday

PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton Community College Board of Trustees will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, in the Moore Building board room, 136 Clinton Point Drive.

Agenda items are expected to include academic, administrative and personnel reports. 

The session is open to all.

Moriah Central Board to open bids

MORIAH — The Moriah Central School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, in the High School library. 

Agenda items include bid openings and financial-report reviews.

The meeting is open to the public.

Jay sets budget session and public hearing

JAY — The Town of Jay’s final 2013 budget workshop meeting is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Town of Jay Community Center in AuSable Forks.

A public hearing on the proposed budget will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, with the regularly scheduled Town Council meeting to follow at 7 p.m.

All are welcome.
