Chateaugay School Board agenda planned for Monday

CHATEAUGAY — Chateaugay Central School Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at the school.

Agenda items include the elementary principal brochure and application, Project Challenge, an insurance report and the New York State Council of Superintendents Conference.

The meeting is open to all.

Youth Court training coming up

PLATTSBURGH — Clinton County Youth Court will be offering a member training for county teens.

Youth Court is an opportunity for those age 13 to 18 to serve as members of a court for young people who have committed offenses in our community.

The goal of Youth Court is to prevent delinquency through positive peer influence. Members develop leadership skills, learn about the justice system and have an opportunity to make a difference in their community.

Membership requires participation in two full days of training: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 30 and 31.

Westport Council changes meeting date

WESTPORT — The Westport Town Council meeting set for Dec. 24 has been changed to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30. 

The session will take place in the Town Hall and is open to the public.
