NCCS Board to interview interim dean candidates

CHAMPLAIN — The Northeastern Clinton Central School Board will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. today in the District Office.

The board anticipates adjourning into executive session to interview candidates for interim dean of students.

It is possible appointment of personnel will take place after the executive session.

The public may attend.

Plattsburgh Common Council to meet tonight

PLATTSBURGH — The City of Plattsburgh Common Council will take action on several items at tonight’s meeting.

Among them are resolutions to allow Water Pollution Control Plant Manager David Powell to purchase various chemicals for the plant, and approving a request from Laura Carmichael to hold a Cabin Fever Reliever at the City Recreation Center to benefit the Autism Alliance of Northeastern New York on Feb. 1, 2014.

The meeting begins with a work session at 5 p.m., followed by the regular session at 5:30 p.m.
