Some flights canceled at P’burgh, Burlington airports

The heavy snowfall that accumulated in the region Thursday and Friday caused multiple flight cancellations at the Plattsburgh International and Burlington International airports Saturday.

Two flights headed to Boston from Plattsburgh at 3:05 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. Saturday were canceled. The rest of their scheduled flights were said to be on time.

The Burlington International Airport had an arriving flight from Burlington to Cleveland at 2:27 p.m. and another arriving from Washington, D.C., at 6:37 p.m. that were both canceled. The rest of their incoming flights were on time.

Two departing flights, one to Cleveland at 3:10 p.m. and the other to Washington, D.C., at 7:10 p.m., were canceled, as well. The rest of their departing flights were said to be on time.

Chateaugay School Board to meet Monday

CHATEAUGAY — The Chateaugay Central School Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the school.

Agenda items include approval of a plan for unused emergency days, a 2013-14 budget update and personnel.

The public is welcome.

Water bills delayed in Black Brook

AuSABLE FORKS — Due to new computer software, there has been three-week delay in sending out water bills in the Town of Black Brook as information is entered into the system.

The water-meter readings were done on time, a press release said; it is expected the bills will be mailed by Friday.

Beekmantown School Board to talk trips, policies

BEEKMANTOWN — The Beekmantown Central School Board will meet at 6:16 p.m. Tuesday in the Middle/High School library. 

Agenda items include: Spotlight on Education on Middle School video, a presentation on the Annual Professional Performance Review, resignations, retirements, trips and policies.
