Snowball Dinner, dance to benefit Senior Council

PLATTSBURGH — The 15th-annual Snowball Dinner and Dance to benefit the Senior Citizens Council is Saturday, Feb. 9, at the West Side Ballroom.

The evening starts with social hour at 5:30 p.m. A plated dinner is served at 6 p.m., and dancing is from 7 to 11 p.m. The band Slab City will play.

Tickets are $30 per person. They must be purchased at the Senior Citizens Council, 5139 N. Catherine St. by Friday, Feb. 1, due to limited seating.

Senior Computer Club to meet Feb. 4

PLATTSBURGH — The Senior Citizen Computer Club of Clinton County meets at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at the Senior Citizens Center, 5139 North Catherine St.

The session will include a presentation on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
