CVPH closes Business Center to walk-ins

PLATTSBURGH — Effective Tuesday, the CVPH Business Center at 21 Plattsburgh Plaza will no longer be open for walk-in business.

The CVPH Cashiers Office, located on the main campus, first floor, adjacent to the front lobby will continue to accept payments and initiate payment arrangements for those wanting to do so in person.

Questions about accounts may be addressed by phoning CVPH Patient Accounts at 562-7074. Payments may also be made online through the CVPH website.

The Business Center was established almost 20 years ago in the Plattsburgh Plaza off of Cornelia Street. It was never intended for public access, and only a small number of people use it now, Kathy Peterson, director of patient financial services, said in a press release.

For security purposes, the decision was made to redirect all traffic to the main CVPH campus on Beekman Street.
