Fellowship Club’s Thanksgiving dinner coming up

ALTONA — The Mooers Good Fellowship Club will be having its Thanksgiving dinner at noon Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the Rainbow Wedding and Banquet Hall here.

Those planning to attend should bring $7 and an item for the food pantry. Dues must be paid in order to attend. The club will pay for the dinner. RSVP by calling Shirleen at 420-5513 so organizers get an accurate count.

The group will also have a short meeting to plan the Christmas party. New members are always welcome.

Holiday Party planned for seniors

TICONDEROGA — The Senior Citizens’ Holiday Party put on by the Ticonderoga Kiwanis and Ticonderoga Central School District is planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the Ticonderoga Elementary/Middle School cafeteria.

The party is free, and reservations are not required. The event includes a light turkey lunch and student entertainment.

The snow date is Thursday, Dec. 6.
