---- — Third ThursdayArt Walks to resume soon in Saranac Lake
SARANAC LAKE — The 15th-annual Third Thursday Art Walks will return to downtown Saranac Lake from 5 to 7:30 p.m. June 20, July 18, Aug. 15 and Sept. 19.
As in past years, village streets, shops, galleries, studios and parks will host varied talents of local and regional artists in celebration of the visual, literary and performing arts. The Art Walks are free, self-guided tours through downtown.
New this year, courtesy of the Adirondack Scenic Railroad, is an Art Walk Train available for each event. This train will bring visitors from Lake Placid to Saranac Lake in time to enjoy each Art Walk, and even ahead of time in July, August and September to allow visitors to shop and/or dine in the local eateries.
Artists, musicians, poets and performers who wish to participate in the events should contact Jill Wenner at 637-2745 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
