College, Community Art Show canceled

PLATTSBURGH — The College and Community Art Show scheduled for April 14 through 18 in the Thomas and Marie Hermes Conference Room on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus has been canceled.

The show will be rescheduled at a later date.

Sherman Free Library marks N’tnl Library Week

PORT HENRY — Sherman Free Library in Port Henry will celebrate National Library Week from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 15.

Attendees can pick up a bookmark, enjoy a cookie, sign up for a library card or check out a book or DVD or book on CD.

Ti Festival Guild director to retire

TICONDEROGA — Cathie Burdick will retire as executive director of the Ticonderoga Festival Guild as of May 31.

The performers for Arts Trek and the family concerts have all been booked for the new season, and a smooth transition to a new director is expected, a press release states.
