Caregivers support group to meet

PLATTSBURGH — Behavioral Health Services North will hold two discussion groups for unpaid caregivers of anyone 60 years or older.

The first is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at the United Way Building, 45 Tom Miller Road in Plattsburgh.

The second group is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the Emmaus Room at St. Peter’s Church in Plattsburgh.

There is also a telephone support group from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27.

The discussion groups are open to anyone providing unpaid care to an aging family member or friend.

Caregivers may call Mary Buckley-Labonte, program coordinator, at 565-4543 for more information.
