Dannemora budget hearing date changed

DANNEMORA — The Dannemora Town Council has canceled the public hearing on the 2014 budget set for Wednesday and rescheduled it for 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the Town Hall.

Nov. 12 deadline set for Black Brook water, sewer payments

BLACK BROOK — The water and sewer bills for the Town of Black Brook are due by Nov. 12.

If not paid by that date, they will be re-levied on the property owner’s tax bill that will be sent out in January 2014.


CCC sets special session for Wednesday

PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton Community College Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Board Room.

An executive session will take place.


Schuyler Falls Town Council sets hearing

SCHUYLER FALLS — The Schuyler Falls Town Council will hold a public hearing on the preliminary 2014 budget at 4:45 p.m. Thursday at the Town Hall.


Black Brook sets hearing on spending plan

BLACK BROOK — The Black Brook Town Council will hold a public hearing on the 2014 budget at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at the Town Hall, 18 North Main St., AuSable Forks.

The public is encouraged to attend.


Winter clothing donations sought

SCHUYLER FALLS — The Town of Schuyler Falls is collecting winter outerwear for distribution before cold weather arrives.

Especially needed are children’s outerwear like coats, hats, gloves, boots and ski pants, which are always in high demand.

Items can be dropped off at the Schuyler Falls Town Hall, 997 Mason St., Morrisonville.

Persons in need of these items may stop at the Town Hall during office hours or call 563-1129.


Beekmantown Town Office to be closed

BEEKMANTOWN — The Beekmantown Town Offices will be closed Monday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veteran’s Day, Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29, for Thanksgiving.
