Library Trustees alter video conferencing for meeting

SARANAC LAKE — Due to unforeseen circumstances, video conferencing will not be offered from the Schroon Lake Town Meeting Room for Monday’s 4:30 p.m. meeting of the Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library System Board of Trustees.

The physical location of the meeting will be at Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library System, 33 Oak St., Plattsburgh, and there will be video conferencing available at Saranac Lake Free Library.

The meeting is open to the public at both locations.

Due date for Champlain village taxes nears

CHAMPLAIN — The Village of Champlain will be collecting property taxes until Nov. 1.

After that date, they will be turned over to Clinton County for collection.
