Computer Club meets Monday

PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton County Senior Citizens’ Computer Club next meets at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at the Senior Center, 5139 N. Catherine St.

The guest speaker will be Ed Schiffler. He will talk about computer maintenance.

The meetings are open to the public. To register, call the Senior Center at 563-6180.

Town of Plattsburgh offering kayak trip

PLATTSBURGH — The Town of Plattsburgh Parks and Recreation Department will be offering a free kayak trip from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, for all active adult and senior town residents.

The group will start in Saranac at Picketts Corners Park and travel 6.3 miles down the river to the Cadyville Beach. Equipment will be provided to those who need it.

All participants must preregister by calling 562-6860 or stopping by the Recreation Department at 151 Banker Road.
