Morrisonville Fire Commission meets today

MORRISONVILLE — The Morrisonville Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners will hold its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. today at the Schuyler Falls Town Hall.

All meetings are open to the public.

Trial at Peru Town Hall

PERU — The Peru Town Hall will be closed today because a jury trial is slated to take place there.

It will reopen on Wednesday, March 19.

ORDA Board to discuss capital expenditures

LAKE PLACID — The Olympic Regional Development Authority Board of Directors will meet at 1:30 p.m. today at the Olympic Center.

Agenda items include a financial report and a resolution on capital expenditures.

CCC Board to discuss e-cigarette policy

PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton Community College Board of Trustees has scheduled its monthly meeting for 5 p.m. today in the board room on the second floor of the Moore Academic and Administrative building on the main campus.  

Agenda items include committee reports and a policy on e-cigarettes.

The meeting is open to the public.

LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid Central School Board will meet at 7 p.m. today in the Board of Education Conference Room, Administrative Services Building, 50 Cummings Road.

Moriah School Board working on budget

MORIAH — The Moriah Central School Board will hold a budget meeting at 6 p.m. today with a regular meeting immediately following.

Both meetings will be held in the High School Library and are open to the public.

Items on the agenda include individual department budget presentations, policy updates, review of financial reports and personnel discussions.
