MALONE — Upstate Correctional Facility will remember and honor deceased employees at a memorial ceremony at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 30.

The public is invited to attend the observance, which will take place at the Employee Memorial in front of the Administration Building, 309 Bare Hill Road.

Patrick Campbell of the American Legion will be the keynote speaker. Upstate Correctional Facility’s Honor Guard will conduct a flag presentation, along with the playing of “Taps.” J. Forsythe, a correction officer with the Emerald Society, will provide bagpipe music.

Memorial wreaths will be donated by the New York State Correctional Officer Police Benevolent Association (NYSCOPBA) and the Public Employees Federation.

Immediately following the service, light refreshments will be provided in the Visitor Processing Center by the Employee Benefit Committee.
