New manager

LAKE PLACID — The Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort in Lake Placid has hired Sara Tagliarino of Lake Placid as its new manager at Generations Restaurant.

As the great-great-granddaughter of John A. Stevens, former Lake Placid hotelier and owner of the Stevens House Hotel, Tagliarino’s heritage in the hospitality and restaurant industries runs deep. Carrying on the family tradition, Tagliarino has past experience in managerial roles for both Northwoods Inn and Milano North in Lake Placid and has held positions in marketing and consulting for The Wild Center, the Lake Placid and Essex County Visitors Bureau and Sun Dental Labs in Clearwater, Fla.

Currently, Tagliarino manages her own independent consulting firm in addition to holding a position in social media marketing at Growtrends, a Plattsburgh-based agency.

In her role as manager, Tagliarino will oversee the day-to-day operations of Generations, as well as the promotion of new specials and events in coordination with the resort’s marketing team.

“Sara’s combined experience in marketing, social media and the restaurant industry brings a diverse background to the manager position at the restaurant,” said Jenn Holdereid, owner and general manager of the Golden Arrow. “We’re excited to have her on board and think locals and visitors will appreciate the new specials and events Generations has in store like Wing Wednesdays.”

Heading into 2014, Tagliarino and the Generations team will continue to roll out new restaurant promotions for locals and visitors alike.

For menus, specials and additional information, visit www.golden-arrow.com/dining or connect with the restaurant on Facebook at www.facebook.com/GenerationsLP.
