Plattsburgh City School Board to meet Thursday

PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh City School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at the Duken School Building.

If an executive session is required, it will be held immediately after the meeting convenes. 

Public session will resume at 7 p.m. with a Fiscal Advisors & Marketing presentation.

The board will also act on various personnel and business items.

Keeseville Village Board to meet

KEESEVILLE — The Keeseville Village Board of Trustees will hold a budget meeting at 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 7, to work on the 2014 village budget and to address any other business that comes before the board.

The meeting will be held in the Village Board Room, 58 Liberty St.

It is open to the public.

Two board seats up at Willsboro Central School

WILLSBORO — Willsboro Central School District voters will elect two School Board members on Tuesday, May 20, in conjunction with the annual school budget vote.

Both three-year terms, the seats are presently held by Craig Jackson and Jon Steeves.

Prospective candidates can obtain petition forms from District Clerk Brandy Pierce at the school’s District Office, 29 School Lane, or online at www.willsborocsd.org.

Petition forms can also be mailed by calling 963-4456, Ext. 204.

The deadline to return petitions to the district clerk is 3 p.m. April 21.

Changes made to Chateaugay Theater schedule

CHATEAUGAY — Due to conflicts with the Chateaugay Central School musical “Annie” at the end of March, the Chateaugay Town Hall Theater film schedule has been revised.

The March 28 movie “Gravity” will now take place on Friday, April 4, at 7 p.m., and the March 30 movie “Frozen” is moved to Sunday, April 6, at 1 p.m.

The Town Hall Theater is located at 191 E. Main St., Chateaugay. It costs $3 per person or $10 for a family to watch the films.
