BHSN Mardi Gras set for this Sunday

PLATTSBURGH — Behavioral Health Services North’s 12th-annual Mardi Gras North is scheduled for Sunday, March 2, at Anthony’s Restaurant & Bistro on Route 3 in Plattsburgh.

The event will run from 5 to 8 p.m., with a Cajun-like special menu, masks, beads and live Dixieland jazz music.

Costumes are encouraged; bring your own mask or choose among the many provided, along with colorful beads.

The evening will honor this year’s Mardi Gras North Royalty, John and Sharon Schenkel. They have long-served many who receive services from the 23 programs at BHSN, a press release states.

Tickets are available by calling 563-8206, Ext. 139, or online by clicking the Donate button at www.bhsn.org.
