First Assembly to host missionaries

PLATTSBURGH — Missionaries Tim and Debbie Anderson will speak at the First Assembly of God Church, 164 Prospect Ave., at the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday, Feb. 23.

The Andersons have been AGWM Missionaries since 1986.

Trinity Episcopal’s cabin fever event

PLATTSBURGH — Trinity Episcopal Church has planned a cabin fever event for 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at 18 Trinity Place.

The event includes games, knitting, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles (bring your own or try one on-hand), book discussions and quiet music in the Chapel.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a snack to share and wear colorful spring clothes.

Worship and the community meal will follow.

Senior Sock Hop rescheduled

CHAMPLAIN — The Senior Sock Hop at Three Steeples United Methodist Church that was snowed out on Valentine’s Day has been rescheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, in the church Fellowship Hall at 491 Route 11 in Champlain.

Old hits from the 1950s and ‘60s will be played.
