City alters trash pickup schedule due to holiday

PLATTSBURGH — The City of Plattsburgh Public Works Department has changed its pickup schedule for Monday, Feb. 17, because of Presidents Day.

City crews won’t be picking up refuse that day.

Instead, Monday’s collection will be done on Tuesday, Feb. 18, along with Tuesday’s collections.

The pickup for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be on the regular days.


Saranac Lake School Board agenda set

SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake School Board will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Petrova Library.

Agenda items will include program review, a discussion about the Harvard Model UN and the treasurer’s report.

The meeting is open to the public.


Keeseville Village Board working on budget

KEESEVILLE — The Keeseville Village Board will hold a special budget meeting at 8:30 a.m. Wed., Feb. 19, at Village Offices at 58 Liberty St.

The meeting is open to all.


Champlain signing up vendors for farmers market

CHAMPLAIN — The Village of Champlain will be offering a farmers market this summer on Saturday mornings near the playground on Main Street.

Interested vendors should contact the Village Office at 298-4152 for further information and to sign up to participate.
