Computer Club meeting, classes coming up

PLATTSBURGH — The Senior Citizen Computer Club of Clinton County will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at the Senior Citizens’ Center, 5139 N. Catherine St.

The group will discuss and demonstrate ways to back up and preserve data in case of a computer failure. Ed Schiffler is the presenter.

In addition, a two-day class called “Improving Your Skills Using the Word Processor” is being offered from 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 5 and Wednesday, Nov. 7. Subjects to be covered include setting margins, page orientation, saving work, setting fonts, printing and more. A donation of $1 to the Senior Center is asked.
