Ticonderoga woman releases teen novel
TICONDEROGA -- Jodi Auborn of Ticonderoga has authored a teen novel set in the Adirondack Mountains.

Published by PublishAmerica, 'Stormwind of the North Country' is the story of 14-year-old Kat, whose life is changed forever when she must fight for the preservation of her father's land, the safety of her best friend and the life of her horse, Stormwind.

'Some places in the story may seem familiar to area readers,' Auborn said in a press release. 'I was born here in Ticonderoga, my mother's hometown, but grew up in Hadley and Lake Luzerne. The book's fictitious towns of 'Sprucewood' and 'Buck Creek' are loosely based on Hadley-Luzerne and Schroon Lake, respectively.'

The author had donated a copy of 'Stormwind' to the Blackwatch Library in Ticonderoga; signed copies may be purchased there for $18.31 (including tax). Find the book also at www.amazon.com and the online bookstore at www.publishamerica.com. For more information, go to www.jodilauborn.webs.com.
