Donation supports oral history projects
BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE — A $2,500 donation from Stewart's Shops to the Adirondack Museum at Blue Mountain Lake will provide support for the museum's school-based oral history/video documentary program "Adirondack Tales."

The project is currently under way at the L.P. Quinn Elementary School in Tupper Lake and Indian Lake Central School, with 16 students in grades five and six participating.

The special project, directed by Museum Educator Christine Campeau, explores and preserves the significance of people who live and work in the Adirondacks by recording their personal stories.
