Lake Champlain Trout Unlimited hosts fly-rod expert

PLATTSBURGH -- Walt Trzcienski will be on hand to offer appraisals of old fly rods at the Lake Champlain Trout Unlimited meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at the Gander Lodge Room, Gander Mountain Store, North Mall, Plattsburgh.

Trzcienski, a long-time rod collector, restorer and trader, knows his stuff. He'll tell how to identify valuable rods, what makes them valuable, and old versus new rod-building techniques. Come share Trzcienski's exceptional knowledge, see some of his collection and increase your skills, whether you have an old fly rod that needs appraising or not. The meeting is free and everyone is invited.
