Price Chopper Pharmacy holding flu clinic
PLATTSBURGH — Price Chopper Pharmacy will be holding a seasonal and H1N1 flu clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.

The price is $30 for the flu shot and $18 for the H1N1 shot. Patients must be at least 19 years of age. Appointments are recommended and can be made by calling the pharmacy at 562-3565. Medicaid and Medicare Part B are accepted with no co-pay.

Peru fire commissioners call special meeting
PERU — The commissioners of the Peru Fire District will hold a special meeting today to select a financial institution to provide funds to fulfill a voter approved bond issue.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Fire Station and is open to the public.

Westport School Board working on budget
WESTPORT — The Westport Central School Board will hold a budget workshop at 5:30 p.m. and a regular meeting at 6:30 on Thursday in the library.

The board will hold its second budget workshop examining the administrative and operational costs, including transportation.

Agenda items for the regular meeting include the proposal for the Class of 2010 senior trip and a permanent full-time appointment.

Both meetings are open to the public.

Lake Placid School Board meets Thursday
LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid Central School Board will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Administration Building, 50 Cummings Road.

A motion to go into executive session to discuss the employment history of specific personnel is anticipated.
