An Ellenburg Depot woman was injured in a two-car motor vehicle accident Saturday.
According to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, Melody Moore, 56, was traveling southbound on Route 190 when she failed to notice a stopped vehicle being driven by Roderick Poirier, 43, of Malone.
Moore struck the rear passenger side of Poirier’s vehicle before continuing through a ditch off the western side of Route 190 and striking an elevated embankment containing shrubs and small trees.
Moore was transported to CVPH for neck and head pain. Her condition was not available at press time.
Poirier and the passengers in his vehicle were not injured.
Moore was ticketed for following too closely.
