NORTH ELBA — Two Peru residents were charged Monday in a series of burglaries the two have committed over the past few months, police said.
Police investigation into the alleged criminal activities of Tara S. Reynolds, 34, and Brandon S. Duby, 22, has been ongoing, police said.
Reynolds and Duby are charged with burglarizing the Olympic Ski Jump facility gift shop on Route 73 in Lake Placid; Personal Expressions Salon on Saranac Avenue in Lake Placid and South Meadow Farms on Sugarworks Way in Lake Placid, according to a news release from State Police.
Those three burglaries were reported between Sept. 14 and 21, police said.
On Monday, Reynolds was charged with three counts of third-degree burglary and Duby was charged with two counts of third-degree and one count of second-degree burglary.
They were both were arraigned in North Elba Town Court.
Duby was sent back to the Clinton County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond.
Reynolds was also sent back to Clinton County Jail. She is being held without bail.
In September, the pair were arrested while burglarizing an unoccupied residence on Plank Road in Ellenburg, police said.
