PLATTSBURGH — Nine felony offenders were sentenced recently in Clinton County Court.
Judge Patrick McGill handed down these sentences (all charges are felonies):
Jenilee Gillespie, 31, of Plattsburgh: Pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a forged instrument and was sentenced to two to four years in prison as a second felony offender. Gillespie was ordered to pay $300 in service charges and $280.40 in restitution. She must also provide a DNA sample and pay the $50 sample collection fee.
Kelly D. Meseck, 33, of Plattsburgh: Pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to three years in prison, determinate, with five years of post-release supervision. Meseck also pleaded guilty to second-degree conspiracy and was sentenced to one to three years prison indeterminate. In addition, Meseck pleaded guilty to third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and was sentenced to one year in jail. That sentence will be served concurrent to the sentence for conspiracy. Meseck was ordered to pay a $375 surcharge, provide a DNA sample and pay the sample collection fee.
Michael Parent-McDougal, 26, of Plattsburgh: Pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary and was sentenced to one to three years prison. He must pay restitution and a mandatory surcharge. Parent-McDougal was ordered to provide a DNA sample and pay the sample collection fee. An order of protection was put in place, and Parent-McDougal must undergo mental-health treatment. His right to an appeal was waived.
Jody R. White, 34, of Heuvelton: Pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal contempt and was sentenced to five years of probation. White was ordered to pay surcharges and undergo mental-health treatment. He must provide a sample of his DNA and pay the sample-collection fee. An order of protection was put in place, and his right to an appeal was waived.
