WEST CHAZY — A West Chazy man was arrested for driving after having his license suspended, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.
Robert J. Trombley, 53, was arrested at 10:34 p.m. Sunday by Sheriff’s deputies following a traffic stop on the Recore Road. It was determined during the investigation that Trombley was allegedly intoxicated and that his license was currently suspended from a previous DWAI conviction.
Trombley is charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation; driving while intoxicated, first offense; operating a motor vehicle with 0.08 percent or more; and changing lanes when hazardous.
The deputies transported Trombley to the Sheriff’s Office for processing, and he was released to appear in the Town of Chazy Court at a later date.
