PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man was charged with drunken driving Saturday.
At about 3 a.m., State Police stopped Edward D. Quesnel, 27, for a traffic infraction, State Police said in a news release.
The stop happened on Weed Street in the City of Plattsburgh, according to a State Police blotter entry.
Quesnel was found to be intoxicated, with a blood-alcohol content of 0.16 percent, police said in the release.
Quesnel was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, since he has been convicted of DWI within the past 10 years, police said.
He was also ticketed for speeding, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle and having inadequate license plate lamps, police said.
Quesnel was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Plattsburgh City Court on Oct. 14.
