PLATTSBURGH — Two Plattsburgh teens are accused of burglary.
At 2:15 a.m. Sunday, City Police were called to Morrison Avenue to investigate a report of someone in the backyard of one of the street’s residences with a flashlight.
Upon arriving at the scene, according to police, officers were told items were missing from the residence, so they began patrolling the area and located two males who had taken off on foot.
Anthony P. Dibenedetto, 17, and Jacques H. Fair, 18, were subsequently arrested and each charged with second-degree burglary, a class C felony; fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony; and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
They were both arraigned in City Court at 10:30 a .m. and committed to County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
The incident was still under investigation Sunday afternoon, according to police.
