POESTENKILL — A Champlain woman was charged Aug. 15 with forgery.
Lisa A. Korb was arrested at 922 Route 9 and was charged with second-degree forgery and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, both felonies, according to a State Police blotter entry.
The illegal activity stems from something Korb did when she tried to sell a vehicle to a person in Plattsburgh, said Troop B Public Information Officer Trooper Jennifer Fleishman.
She was arraigned and sent to Clinton County Jail, according to the blotter entry.
The incidents the led to Korb being charged were reported to police on April 19, 2013, and Aug. 15, 2013, according to two blotter entries.
