TICONDEROGA — Six people were injured in a two-car accident Saturday.
At about 12:15 p.m., Thomas Hrabovsky, 71, of Kempton, Penn., was driving east on Shannahan Road when he failed to yield to the right of way and went through the intersection, striking a vehicle driven by Alfred J. Hurlburt, 65, of Crown Point, Ticonderoga Police said.
Hrabovsky and his passenger Mary A. Hrabovsky, 67, of Kempton, Penn., were taken to Moses Ludington Hospital with injuries, police said.
Also taken to Inter-Lakes Health in Ticonderoga with injuries were Virginia N. Hurlburt, 65, of Crown Point; Gerardus L. Peeters, 75, of Ticonderoga; and Linda L. Rich, 65, of Ticonderoga, all passengers in Hurlburt’s vehicle, police said.
Five out of the six patients were transferred to Flecther Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt., police said.
The other person was treated and released from Inter-Lakes Health, police said.
Mr. Hrabovsky was cited for failure to yield to the right of way.
