PLATTSBURGH — A Morrisonville man was charged with third-degree grand larceny Saturday.
Scott St. John, 28, allegedly stole $5,382.75 in unemployment benefits from the New York State Department of Labor while he was gainfully employed, according to a State Police news release.
St. John was charged with third-degree grand larceny, first-degree falsifying business records and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, the release said.
He was arraigned in the Town of Schuyler Falls Court and was released under the pre-trial release program.
