MALONE — A Chateaugay man was charged Feb. 20 with grand larceny.
On Feb. 18, a Westville woman reported that her Community Bank Visa debit card had been stolen, police said.
On her bank statement, the woman had noticed a transaction from the Wal-Mart in Malone for $357.11 that she had not made, police said.
The suspect had purchased gauze, antacids, Bacitracin, two Playstation PS3 video games, a Playstation PS3 game system and a flash drive, police said.
Jason W. Cromp, 32, of Chateaugay was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.
He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Malone Town Court.
