---- — PLATTSBURGH — A Saranac man was charged with grand larceny Aug. 1.
The case dates back to Nov. 19, 2012, when Adam Siskavich, 26, was paid $1,200 for labor materials to replace a roof on a rental property after he and another person entered into an oral agreement.
Siskavich was also paid $800 for labor, police said. A $2,000 check was given to him, police said.
When Siskavich did not do the work, he was contacted by the person he had the agreement with, but did not respond, police said.
A warrant for his arrest was issued out of Plattsburgh City Court and police located him Aug. 1 with help from State Police, City Police said.
He was living with his mother in Saranac, police said.
Siskavich was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, and was arraigned.
No further information was available Friday.
