ELIZABETHTOWN — A man was sentenced to prison time for stealing jewelry.

Judge Richard B. Meyer sentenced Michael Durham, 37, to two to four years in state prison since he is a second felony offender, the Essex County District Attorney’s Office said in a press release.

The court also entered a Willard recommendation and ordered Durham to pay restitution, a DNA sample fee, a surcharge and a crime victim’s fee.

Durham pleaded guilty to fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, for stealing jewelry while he was in the home of people he was acquainted with, according to the DA’s Office.
