PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh woman was charged with felony drunken driving after her vehicle was reported to have gone off the road and onto the railroad tracks, according to City Police.
Police said that Emily Batha, 33, was arrested Dec. 17, 2013 at 3:35 p.m., after reports that her vehicle had gone off the road on Miller Street, and that the driver was unconscious.
People had gathered around the scene when police arrived. Police said that Batha was woken up and appeared confused, and that officers observed an aerosol can in her lap.
Batha was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, as well as the lesser charges of reckless driving, ability impaired, and unlawfully possessing noxious material.
Police said she was processed and released to a sober third party.
No further information was available Wednesday.
