ALTONA — An inmate at Altona Correctional Facility was arrested upon his release Thursday for aggravated criminal contempt and aggravated family offense.
Robert W. Robinson, 47, allegedly sent a letter to a person under an order of protection while he was in the correctional facility, Chazy-based State Police said.
He was charged with aggravated criminal contempt in the first degree, with a prior conviction within five years, and aggravated family offense, both felonies, police said.
He was arraigned before the Town of Altona Court and remanded to Clinton County Jail without bail pending further court action.
