WILMINGTON — A Lake Placid man was charged Oct. 2 with grand larceny.
Christopher J. Crawford, 31, took a passport, iPad and credit cards from the vehicle of a Canadian man, said State Police Troop B Public Information Officer Trooper Jennifer Fleishman.
The property was reported missing to police on June 30, 2013, according to a State Police blotter entry.
The items, valued at about $800, were not recovered, she said.
Crawford was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.
He was incarcerated in the Essex County Jail at the time of his arrest on the grand larceny charge, Fleishman said.
Crawford was taken from jail to the Wilmington Town Court for arraignment and was then returned to jail, she said.
