MALONE — Police are asking the public’s help in locating a vehicle and its driver.

Malone-based State Police and State Department of Environmental Conservation Police are investigating a hunting-related incident that happened Friday between 11 and 11:30 a.m. on Griffin Road in the Town of Fort Covington.

No information was released detailing what the incident involved.

The agencies are seeking assistance in locating a dark blue-colored Dodge four-door pickup truck believed to be of a model year between 2003 and 2008. The license plate is of the newer style, with gold-colored plates.

An amber-colored roof light may be attached to the roof of the pickup, and a green-colored, wooden dog kennel may be in the truck bed.

The truck’s driver is described as a white male between 30 and 40 years old, with medium-length brown hair and no facial hair.

He was seen wearing camouflage clothing and an orange vest.

Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police in Malone at (518) 563-3761.
