Police Log: Jan. 23, 2013 — Felony arrest

PLATTSBURGH — Two West Chazy residents were arrested in connection with alleged check forgery.

Deanna A. Bradley, 19, stole 20 personal checks from her family member, State Police said in a news release.

She and Aaron L. Goodeau Jr., 21, cashed them at Wal-Mart in Plattsburgh for a total of $878.87, police said.

Bradley was charged with 20 counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument, a felony, police said.

Bradley was also charged with three misdemeanors: 20 counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and 19 counts of petit larceny, and 20 counts of second-degree criminal impersonation, police said.

Goodeau was charged with 10 counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument; 10 counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and 10 counts of second-degree criminal impersonation, police said.

Bradley and Goodeau were arraigned in Plattsburgh Town Court and both were placed on pre-trial release, police said.
