CROWN POINT — A local man was arrested earlier this month after he allegedly violated a court order for a second time.
Crown Point-based State Police charged Shabtie B. Logan, 26, with first-degree criminal contempt March 6 after he was found to be in the company of a woman who has an active stay-away order of protection against him, police said Tuesday.
The offense was filed as a felony based on Logan’s previous violation of the order, which he recently pleaded guilty to.
After being arraigned, Logan was sent to Essex County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
