MORIAH — Two people were arrested Wednesday for allegedly breaking into the Moriah Country Club and Boyeau’s Lakeside here.
Moriah Town Police said James J. Gregory, 28, and Jessica Cossey, 27, both of Moriah were charged with two counts each of felony third-degree burglary.
Moriah Officer-in-Charge Steven Stahl said the pair is accused of breaking into the Country Club overnight June 29 and 30 and taking five bottles of liquor and some beer.
At Boyeau’s Lakeside, a snack bar and ice cream shop in Port Henry, the two allegedly stole $17.50 in cash the same night.
Arraignments of Gregory and Cossey are pending in Moriah Town Court, he said, so bail hasn’t been set yet.
Moriah Town Police were assisted by State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Investigator Ronald Husner and Trooper Kane Sleeper in apprehending Gregory and Cossey.
