---- — PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man was arrested on felony drug charges Nov. 19.
Valcour-based State Police stopped Edward W. Bouvia, 23, of Cadyville in traffic shortly before 1:25 a.m. because his vehicle had crossed the fog line and appeared suspicious, according to police.
Upon investigation of the vehicle, police found a black bag containing drugs.
Bouvia was arrested at 1:28 p.m. that day and was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a felony; unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation; third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, a misdemeanor; violating the state sanitary code, a violation; and operating a motor vehicle without a license, an infraction.
Bouvia was arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court and remanded to Clinton County Jail without bail because of previous felony charges.
He was due to reappear in court Nov. 20.
