He was indicted by a grand jury on three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Monaghan was also ordered to pay $400 in restitution.
Jay Hutchins, 37, of West Street, Malone was sentenced to five years of probation, with the first six months on electronic-home monitoring, for driving while intoxicated, stemming from an incident May 26. He was originally charged with driving while in for allegedly having a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or above, felony DWI, failure to keep right, making an improper signal and failure to notify the State Department of Motor Vehicles about a change of address. Hutchins was ordered to pay a $2,000 fine, and his driver’s license was revoked for a year.
