---- — PLATTSBURGH — A Coeymans, N.Y., woman was arrested after a yearlong investigation into an identity theft and grand larceny incident.

Heather A. Liccardi, 22, surrendered herself to Plattsburgh-based State Police Dec. 13, 2012, and was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony; fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, specifically a credit card, a felony; third-degree identity theft, a misdemeanor; and petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

An arrest warrant has been issued for another suspect who is currently in state prison, Plattsburgh-based State Police said.

On Dec. 5, 2011, State Police received a complaint from a man that his credit card was stolen and used illegally at Wal-Mart in Plattsburgh and Sandri Sunoco on Margaret Street in Plattsburgh.

Minor purchases were made with the stolen credit card at the gas station, police said.

A Wal-Mart surveillance tape appears to show Liccardi, with the help of another woman, using the stolen credit card to purchase two large-screen televisions, an Xbox, a Nintendo 3 DS, two Play Station 3 games and computer software totaling $1,895.17, police said.

According to the surveillance footage, the two women loaded the merchandise into a small, white-grayish car, police said.

After her arrest, Liccardi was arraigned in Plattsburgh Town Court and taken to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash or $3,000 bond.

Liccardi posted bail in December, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department.

Liccardi was scheduled to appear in court Dec. 20.
